Mobile Giving Foundation Requirements


All Greater Calling text giving campaigns are conducted through the Mobile Giving Foundation, which is a 501c3 organization that works with all the mobile phone carriers and the service providers to ensure the integrity of the mobile giving channel.  In order to qualify to use text giving, you will need to supply the following documents:
  • Letter of Determination proving 501(c)3 status
  • Your latest Form 990 (or audited financials)
  • Organization Bylaws
  • Articles of Incorporation
  • State Registration Checklist
  • Officers and Directors Form

Your annual revenue must be $500k or more and you must have been in business for one year.In order to review your documents and assure that you meet the carrier requirements and to cover the cost of getting the keywords approved by the carriers, the Mobile Giving Foundation charges an application fee and a keyword setup fee.  These are one-time fees paid directly to MGF.

The application fee for organizations that meet the revenue requirements and will have their own accounts is $350.

The keyword setup fee is $150.
