We know that many of our international prayer partners would love to join us for our prayer events. There are several options for those of you located outside the USA to join us on our calls. Please read the information on this page and select the method that is most convenient and cost effective for you.

Option 1: Use a VOIP Phone

As many of you have heard, VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) is changing the way phone calls are delivered and how they are priced. Using the Internet as the transport for voice as well as data, people can now talk to each other for free from anywhere in the world. While this technology works well on a one to one basis, it is not as good when it comes to conferencing. When more than 4 people try to share a VOIP connection, it gets difficult to maintain the clarity. However, these services do provide a very inexpensive way to dial a regular US phone number from anywhere in the world (using Gizmo, anyone can call the US from any country for .01 a minute).

How Do I Use a VOIP phone?

Just click on Gizmo Project or click on Skype and download some free software onto your computer. Once you have an account, you then purchase some Dial-Out (or SkypeOut) credits. That will allow you to call our conference phone number and join with others in prayer for just pennies a minute. The call quality will be excellent and you will have all the same features as those calling from a landline.

What equipment do I need to have to be able to have a VOIP phone?

You need a computer with broadband access and a microphone and speakers. If your computer does not come with built-in accessories like this, you can buy a special headset or speaker phone made just for computers.

OPTION 2: Purchase a Calling Card
